A Refutation of the False Synod of Harshport
|
Anonymous |
~625 |
A point-by-point counter-argument against the findings of the Synod of Harshport which declared Anathema and crusade against the Society of the Eclipse in 611 AC. For all that it argues the baseness and degeneracy of mankind, the writing is surprisingly well-reasoned and lucid in a very complex theological way. The book is banned and surpressed in Mithraic lands. Unauthorized possession of this work is proof of heresy and blasphemy. Limited reprintings appear now and again. | Mithraic and Church Imperial |
Found in chapter houses of some Mithraic
orders (restricted access) and among the upper echelons of the Society
of the Eclipse.

| Broken Promises and the End of Days | Anonymous |
~625 |
A book filled with dark prophesies about the
End of Days and Triumph of Evil; a sensationalist book exposing the
"ideals" of the Society of the Eclipse. It caters to the baser
instincts of the common man. The book is banned in Mithrea and
the Marches and is suppressed when found in those countries, but keeps
cropping up about every 10 years with a new printing. Possessing
this book is a great way to become the guest of honor at a Vehemite
barbecue.
